Today, 05 November 2024, the Department of Haute-Sanaga experienced an unprecedented moment: the launch of the 2024/2025 sugar campaign. The fire lit on plot C4 in Mbandjock brought together local authorities, traditional chiefs, social partners, Sosucam employees and top management, as well as the Prefect of Haute-Sanaga, whose presence enhanced the event.
The lighting of the fire symbolises much more than just the start of the season. It’s a collective commitment to performance, driven by a spirit of hope, determination, commitment and pride. These values, visible on the faces of the participants, reflect the confidence and mobilisation of all the stakeholders involved in making this sugar campaign a success, in order to produce 100% Terroir Sugar in quality and quantity.
