Like all nations, the women of SGMP celebrated International Women’s Rights Day on 8 March.
This day was an opportunity for the women of SGMP and their ‘Mamans beignets’ partners from Pointe-Noire and Brazzaville to discuss issues relating to women’s rights and their profession, the Beigneterie, namely:
- Knowledge of women’s rights in particular;
- Knowing your trade to sell better
- Behavioural hygiene and the working environment.
The topics covered generated a great deal of interest in the lively discussions that ensued.
Through the SGMP’s gesture, the doughnut mums felt valued and proud of their profession. They encouraged the SGMP to continue in this direction.
To round off the day, a snack was shared with all the participants.
