The first seminar dedicated to Internal Control, bringing together teams from the Somdia and Castel Africa Divisions, was held in Lomé, Togo, from 22 to 25 January 2024 at the Sarakawa Hotel.
The seminar provided an ideal opportunity to delve into best practice in Internal Control, exchange ideas and consolidate the network of Internal Controllers from the various subsidiaries and divisions. The presentations and interactive discussions provided a richer understanding of current challenges. The seminar also provided an opportunity to discuss the launch of the first 2nd level control campaigns, to review the theoretical foundations of the COSO framework and to share experiences of managing the Internal Control Programme in subsidiaries.
