Since 2013, the Caravane de la Vue, led by the Somdia Group Foundations, has been reaching out to the most vulnerable communities to provide them with free access to essential eye care. A single consultation can transform daily life: reading again, recognizing a face, resuming an activity… For thousands of people, regaining good vision changes everything.
This initiative is made possible thanks to the commitment of our partners, notably the KRYS GROUP Foundation, which supports us in amplifying our impact and enabling ever more people to benefit from eye care.
In 2025, together we achieved:
- 5,633 people seen and consulted
- 3,981 pairs of glasses provided to those who needed them most
- 41 life-changing surgeries
The 2026 campaign kicks off in Cameroon with the CFC Foundation, from March 20 to 22. This year, we aim to reach more than 5,000 people once again.
With the Caravane de la Vue, our goal is simple: to reach out to those who need it most and give everyone the chance to see better… and live better.
