Vincent Atsou is someone you might not know, but who makes your daily life easier with his computer skills. Spotted for his potential in Togo at the age of 19, the young student joined the Somdia group for a six-month internship. His first assignment was to develop a mobile application. After passing through SGMT and Afrik IT, two of the group’s subsidiaries, Vincent spent two months training as a developer in France. In 2020, he joined SOMINFOR, Somdia’s IT services subsidiary in Paris. Now on a permanent contract, this talented developer is working on improving business applications (sales, stock management, accounting). A new app for managing shop preparations? That’s his job. A new solution for managing industrial plant? That’s him again. An app for sending text messages via a web platform? Still him. Vincent’s career path is exemplary within the Group. This is the first time that an employee of a subsidiary has been transferred to the Paris head office. As for Vincent, he is continuing to hone his expertise: the company is currently financing his master’s degree.
